Medomak Arts Project will host Art Night on March 21

Waldoboro Art Night celebrates Women on Saturday, March 21st from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at 13 Friendship Street.  March is Women’s History Month so the theme will be all things about Women.  Local artists are invited to share their images representing women at work, at play or just laying around.  This event is free, so please join the artists and the members of MAP for an evening at the gallery.  Your family and friends will enjoy the art and refreshments on this fun night out.

If you are a local artist or photographer and need a non-profit gallery to display your work, then Medomak Arts Project has the space.  This will offer you a chance to show off your talents, mingle with your friends, relatives and neighbors in the downtown village location.  You are encouraged to bring your ready to hang art of women’s images to Medomak Arts on Monday March 16th from 4-5:30pm. If you have art from last month's Love and Hearts show, you can pick it up during that same time frame.  An alternate time can be arranged by calling 832-4774.

As always, the greatest amount of artwork that can fit on the walls will be displayed.  Choices are determined at the time of hanging.  Thank you for understanding and participating.  Medomak Arts always appreciates something for the food table from the displaying artists.  You are always welcome to hold your own additional gallery hours, as well. Some artists have had mini openings for their family and friends.  Just call the number above to arrange the showing.
